Cube authorizations issue

Hello everyone,

I have cube with 2 authorization objects.

Institution and provider.

I am trying to assign diffrent roles to users. Certain institutions have certain list of providers.

We created separate roles for each institution which contains list of providers also.

In our case inst BU10 and Provider MF2503.

another MH01 and provider MF3976.

Separately roles work fine but than assigning two roles to same user (two inst.) it says - no authorization.

Please check log screenshots and help to resolve.

thank you.

how is your query designed currently in terms of filtering - if any exist - on these 2 characteristics? are you using auth-based variable?

the "error" is there mainly because the query's selection is looking for a larger data area (including some areas that may not exist in your business scenario) in its current state.

it is asking for authorization for any combination among the 2 characteristics values each. eg. MF2053/BU10, MF2503/MH01, MF3976/BU10, MF3976/MH01. obviously only 2 of those is correct in your business case (at least for the role you are testing now).

one way you can verify this if you are not currently using auth-based variable filtering ... is to filter the query output (after u see no data/not authroized) to a valid combination. then it will pass and be able to display result.
