Unplanned depriciation reversal with ordinary deprication

Hi Team,

I have a scenario where ordinary depreciation and unplanned depreciation are netting to Zero but not able to find reason for same.

Below is the scenario.

Asset Capitalization Date : Jan 2012

First Acquisition Date : Dec 2015.

Ideally Dec end 2015 run for unplanned depreciation should be posting catch up values but we have values like -X CAD unplanned and +X CAD ordinary depreciation being posted in same doc and so net Zero.

X value is correct when we calculate value in Excel from Jan 12 to Dec 15.

Life of asset is 10 years.

In 2016 when unplanned is posted reversal is not happening.

Company code Calendar is Jan - Dec.

This does not look like smoothing as well as in 2016 all values are posted without any adjustment during unplanned execution.

Kindly share your expertise over this behavior.

    It sounds strange.

Can you upload below screen shot

1, Tab 'planned value' of AW01N in 2015
2, the screen of clicking on button 'Display depreciation calculation' in Tab 'planned value' of AW01N.
