Cost Center Assigned in OKB9 not picking

Dear Forum,

I Was stuck with a problem, we have created Service tax expenses Gl's as cost element and done necessary settings in OKB9 to pickup the cost centers, while doing the MIRO still i'm getting the error "Account XXXXX requires an assignment to a CO object".

Note: These Gl's were coming from Tax Code.

Hi Pavan,

It should pick, what is the combination you maintained, also you can maintain the cost center in cost element master to pick the cost center.

As we have multiple cost centers i have selected account assignment detail as "1" under this against each valuation area assigned cost center.

Pavan,

Can you tray with business area or profit center, if you have business area, profit center to plant in 1:1 relation. Try to use account assignment as 2 or 3 as per your business requirement to pick the cost center automatically. We used the same for accounts in OKB9 and it is working fine.

Actually we maintain a rule Profit Center=Plant rule so tried with assignment "3" still system throwing same error.

In case of tax multi account assignments will possible by implementing the exit EXIT_SAPLMR1M_002, you can achieve this requirement, for more details of exit implementation, you can refer the OSS note 138957.
