Search doesn't give results if special chars used instead of English chars

When I search for "szölke" instead of "szolke" to find Ervin's stuff on SCN, I don't get any results for "szölke". In Hungarian that is his name, so I'm not making up the "ö" 😊

I think the search engine shouldn't be so strict, especially if there are no results, it should show all results for "szolke" when I searched for "szölke".

While this example might not be convincing, since not many people are searching for Hungarian surnames. But what could be a real example, if German people using English keyboard typing German words without Umlauts.

In my opinion this is a bug and not a feature request.

This applies to both SAP Search and SAP Questions and Answers search:

Side note: It would be nice if the Q&A search would also tell no results found instead of just showing a blank result list.

    Hi,

This isn't a bug but just an optimisation to consider. the level of "fuzziness" can be adjusted to solve this but it's a bit of trial and error: while it might solve this issue, it might negatively impact other results.

After some testing, we've adjusted the level and search for "szölke" will show results with "szolke."

Thanks for your comments here, Attila. Maybe we can get @Brian Bernard to weigh in on this one?
