Standard Fiori App "Count Stock" - offline enablement

Hello experts,

I want to deploy the SAP standard Fiori App "Count Stock" on an Android device including an offline OData

Service using SAP Mobile Platform (SMP3).

I started with this instruction

https://uacp2.hana.ondemand.com/doc/a9d7e27fab184a969798ad97a307ba24/1.0%202016-07/en-US/frameset.htm?e74492670ad64eaeb5332ef8d4606eeb.html

and for the first step (Setting Up the Hybrid App Development Environment) I followed this blog:

http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/front-end/blog/2015/07/13/how-to-install-hybrid-application-toolkit-hat-on-windows-part-1-of-3

These are the versions of the single components:

Cordova: 6.0.0

Kapsel/SMP SDK: 3.0.12

HAT: 1.17.2

The installation was succesful but the next step of the instruction is pointing to a dead link.

Afterwards I tried a different approach.

I loaded the resources of the Count Stock Application from our ABAP repository with the Web IDE (connected

with Cloud Connector).

But I was not able to deploy the package as a hybrid application on HAT.

I got an error stating the template of the application was not suitable for offline usage.

Later I discovered that the version of the app I am using might be too old since the offline capability

was only available for later releases than Q1 2016

My questions are:

  • Should I follow the first path? If so, where can I find the necessary libraries and how do I continue?
  • Is my Web IDE approach right in principal?

Right now I am quite clueless how to go on.

Could you provide me your help?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards

Ines
