Portal runtime error

Hi all,

I have created a BSP iview and when i try to check the preview i am getting a Portal runtime error.

I checked the logs in NWA and the error shown there is "Deprecated scope of type SERVERSESSION_AT_LEAST_ONE_APP_SCOPE is used! Please replace the usage of scopes with new mechanism based on "Cross application session communication API"

What can be done to resolve this?

Thanks & Regards,

Anuroopa

    Hi Anuroopa,

Thanks for using the SCN Discussion Forums 😊

I believe that this isn't an ERROR message but an INFO message and can be ignored. Usually this is not the root cause of your problem.

Usually the Portal Runtime Error provides a log id or you can check the timestamp of when you reproduced the issue and correlate that to the error you are receiving in the default trace. It is only a WebDynpro-related INFO message, you also can see that it has severity Info(not even Warning), not Error - so it won't harm your system.

Can you please reproduce the issue and check the default trace on the exact time you reproduced the issue? If you can, maybe share the error you are receiving with us.

Is this particular BSP iView connected to the system? Please ensure that you have correctly configured the iView.
