Issue with Database Lookup Expression in BRF+

Hello Experts,

I need help on one weird issue I am facing with database lookup expression.

While creating Database Lookup expression, I am expecting "With Condition" should allow me to provide condition but it is not giving me any option from where I can choose / create condition.

Please see the below screen for reference. You can observe that I am not getting Graphical Access button itself to choose.

Is there any prerequisite step I must do before creating database lookup expression?

Please Help....

Regards,

Siddharth Shah

Hi Siddharth,

you have to use the "change" button located after the "<Not assigned>". You will then get a drop down menu that allows you tp specify include or exclude conditions.

Hi Christain,

I tried that button as well. It is giving me menu and include / exclude conditions too but when I am selecting data object from list in menu, nothing is happening. It is just closing menu without any action.

Hi Siddharth,

here are two screenshots how the system should react (just to make sure that we are on the same page):

(1) Create an include condition by selecting one column of the DB table/view

(2) Include condition is created and allows the specification of the condition parameter

If this is not how your system is reacting, then this is a bug. You should check for a note or contact SAP support to get rid of that issue

Hi Christian,

Yes I am not able to include or exclude condition parameter as per step 2. System is not responding with my selection and this is not just one application but whichever application I am creating it is giving me same problem.

I think this is system bug and will contact SAP Support.

Thanks for taking interest in my query.
