Unable to see BW OLAP connection with 'Prompt for credentials' settings in DS

Hi Experts,

We are unable to see those BW OLAP connections from BOE platform that has been configured to 'Prompt' for user credentials (in CMC) in Design Studio client.

However we are able to see the BW OLAP connections that are configured with 'Predefined' in Design studio.

Could you please tell us if it is by default these connections (with 'Prompt') will not visible in Design Studio and if there are any configurations that we need to enable to BOE or Design Studio client to enable visibility of these connections as well.

Our Design studio version is 1.6 SP2

We tried to find if there are any threads with same issue in SCN, but could not find them.

We tried checking in this thread and also all the threads referred in it.

Only issue that comes close to it is http://scn.sap.com/thread/3287913

But, we are referring to BW system directly in our OLAP connection (as above thread pertains to OLAP connections pointing directly to Infoprovider)

Prompt Option is not supported in Design Studio.  Check Page 28 and 29 of the DS Admin Guide.

Just noticed setting the option as 'SSO'  also lists the connection in DS client.

Although it throws an error since the user is a named user and not SSO based user, it provides a subsequent prompt option to enter the credentials and authorizes
