Hi everyone,
Lately I have been struggling with an issue on my SAP Hana DB (which is a trial MDC). I cannot activate any kind of trace, which is annoying especially for troubleshooting.
To be more precise, from the "Trace configuration" tab, if I try to enable a trace (for instance SQL Trace on an user on all tables/views), either from my SYSTEM user or from any TRACE ADMIN user, I get the message : general error: change not allowed for tenant database.
I have been trying to use the "alter system" command, but unsurprisingly it gave me the same error.
I tried to gather as much information as I could but could only find useful information right here : Prevent Changes to System Properties in Tenant Databases - SAP HANA Administration Guide - SAP Library. As it seems, it's a blacklisting issue, but when trying to edit the multidb.ini to solve the issue, with my SYSTEM user, I get the same error : general error: change not allowed for tenant database.
It seems to be linked to the fact that it is a multi-tenant database, but I didn't find much more on the subject.
Is this an MDC related problem ? Has any of you encountered the same issue ? Is there a way to solve this ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Max.
