KDA Default Parameter to current date

I am new to the world of SAP.   Currently, when we enter a transaction where Valid on(RV130-DATAM) is used, it stores the date used per parameter KDA.  I need to know how to set a parameter ID, KDA, to be the current date for specific user.

Any help is appreciated.

I tried this, and it wouldn't work.  I did find some research that showed that since KDA was configured in the element list or flow logic for RV130, it would not go look for a parameter id.  Can you confirm if that is true?

In SU01 under Parameters Tab maintain parameter ID KDA = X use for condition record.
