Data in SAP?

Dear Experts

Recently i have come across a question in other website, but it was unanswered? I don't know, whether it is related to PM or any other module. If anyone knows about it, kindly reply.

What are the Data available in SAP? or How many kind/type of Data available in SAP?

    Hi Pete,

    In sap we can find 3 different types of data .It could be transactional data, master data,analytical data.

    Master data:Master data Master data is data that remains unchanged over a period of time. It contains information that is always needed in the same way.

    Transactional data: Data relating to the day-to-day transactions

    Hi Shiv,

    Your question is not very specific. If you are asking about data types in ABAP.

    These are Following types.

    1-Elementry Type

    2-Reference Type

    3-Complex Data Type

    Each type has respective category with in itself. Pls follow link
