BI Platform Support Tool Issue: Support for 32-bit OS

Hi, I understand the BI Platform Support Tool can only be installed/used on 64bit operating systems. Is there a version of the BI Platform Support Tool, or an equivalent tool, that can be installed/used on 32bit operating systems? Am particularly interested in the E2E Tracing Wizard.

    Hi Hak Chow,

    Unfortunately, there are no plans to support 32-bit operating systems. As a temporary solution (until your client is running 64-bit windows) we usually recommend to put the BIPST client on a sandbox BI 4.x server (since it has to be 64-bit OS). Other customers use a vmware or citrix image to run the BIPST client.

    Regarding other tools, there are none that does what the E2E Trace Wizard does (automate BO_trace overrides, collection of logs, etc). However, you can manually create an E2E Trace by following this KB Article.
