how to include aggregate on Cube in this Process Chain

Hi everyone,

i have a Process Chain for Cube C1 like this:

Start process chain ==> load delta ==> DTP from Datasource to ODS ==> activate ODS ==> delete Index ==> DTP from ODS to Cube C1 ==> create index ==> roll up cube C1 ==> Compress Cube C1.


then i have create Aggregates on Cube for 2 Infoobject: Company Code and Vendor. The Report runs much more faster. My Question is that:

How can i add the Aggregate for these 2 Infoobject in Process Chain?.

i can't find any varian in process chain which automate the Process of Aggregate these Infoobject

    Hi,

    you need to initialize (Fill) the newly created aggregates first(one time activity), then from the next time roll up in the existing process chain take care of it.

      as this is one time activity, you can do it manually from "aggregate maintenance screen" and click on activate and fill (see below image)

      (Or)

      if you want to do it via process chain , you should use "intial fill of new aggregate" (from data administration) .

      PC should be like this Start -->fill agg (if you want to fill it via process chain), but this is not necessary.

    Hi,

    You created aggregates on info objects which are part of your cube.

    so by doing roll up of your cube, those aggregate will be filled.

    So nothing to worry about them.

      Hi Pim,

      please raise a new thread rather than asking in others thread.

      Mean while, please check your source system(UD connect) connections.

      Seek SQL/SAP Basis team help to establish required source system connections.

      Bw side, TX - SM59, find your source system connections, do the connection test and authorization test with help of basis team.
