Open Report wehn Process Chain is running

Hi everyone,

i have a question:

what happen if we open a report in Bex when Process chain to load new data is still running?

Forexample: in the Process chain i have : delete target content...

is the data in the Report not correct during running time of process chain rights?

    Hi,

    what happen if we open a report in Bex when Process chain to load new data is still running?


    Until unless the data is not ready for report on Infocube (Should show workbook Icon beside request) /DSO (the request should be activated with green signal) it won't be available on the reporing side.


    On the reporting side once you open the report you stays with the snapshot of the report, if you refresh the report and the process chain is deleting the target you won't see any data until the new data is ready for reporting.

    Hi,

    After data load completion only, we need to do the reporting other wise it won't show latest data in reports. it may say error or no data to display if your chain was loading data to your targets(Cubes where reports is built on).

    After data deletion step, if you run report, it will give the message as no data to display.

    Data will not be available for reporting during that period.
