Issues after EHP7 upgrade

Hi All,

We recently have upgraded our CRM system to EHP 7. Post upgrade, we are facing many standard issues.

Could anyone please provide OSS notes for any of the below issue.

1. Attachments in the email do not show up in a column. All bunched together. Prior to upgrade, the attachments were listed in a clearer fashion to be able to account easily for which items were there to ensure proper handling of request.

2. The "Save to Local File" button and 'Make a Hyperlink' buttons are missing on the email screen after the upgrade.

3. Issues with Formatting in email screen like: While copy pasting, extra blank space between the paragraphs, extra space while inserting any template, While typing cursor moves to a place that is not consistent where the typing occurs.

    Hello Mohit,

    I have checked the SAP Help official documentation and found that the latest EHP pack available is EHP4. Are you referring to the SAP CRM upgrade to SAP CRM 7.0 with some other EHP packs ? Can you provide a screenshot of the System Version ?

    As for the problem, I would suggest that instead of searching the notes, can you check online documentation of the EHP in SAP Help for the EMail functionalities. It will very clearly mention the new changes which will include the addition, modification and deletion of the features. With these you can narrow down your issue more accurately then searching the huge pile of notes and again verifying it to see if it is at all applicable for your version.

      Hi Mohit,

      Thanks for that information.

      Were you able to notice any information for the EMail Functionality provided by SAP fro EHP3 ? In many cases these may happen :

      1. Need to adjust the custom solution accordingly - Technical Consultant to check the code base

      2. Further Switching of the Business Functions required as per the new EHP release - Functional Consultant to confirm

      Can you check with the team and post here the screen shot of the errors which you are facing after following these two items ?
