    Hi,

Please check the Note 414820. You don't need to try and implement it. Just check the following section which seems pertinent to your query:

The feature EDPDF determines how the PDF data are created. This feature must return either the string 'SPOOL' or the name of a Smart Form.

    a) If the feature EDPDF returns 'SPOOL', the payslip is passed to a spool request using the default layout determined from the form customizing (see note 352161 for more information). This option is also used if the feature returns an error, or if the requested Smart Form does not exist or returns an error.

    b) If the feature returns the name of a Smart Form, the output of the payslip program is passed to the Smart Form for processing. The Smart Form used must have the same interface as the standard Smart Form HR_ESS_PAYSLIP_TO_PDF. The Smart Form allows you to add logos or other graphics to the PDF data.

    Best Regards,

    Aman
