DTP Filter Field Selection Missing BW 7.4

Wondering how to enable/show filter in the DTP when using Datasource is created from a ODP - SLT Source System.

Hi Thomas,

As per your scenario what i understood is you are not able to see the filter options..

what you need to do is..go to your data source-->fields tab--> you need to make the selection and sel.opts like i attached in below pic....after that save the data source...

Thank you for your reply. I have thought that is the possible solution, however the Selections and Selection Options is disabled when trying to turning on a field available for selection.

We are running in BW 7.4 SP8

Hi Thomas,

If you open the DTP in change mode; you will see all the checkbox of selections will be unchecked. Select the checkbox on fields you want in the filter and just continue. Fields will be available in DTP filters. Please see below screen shot for details on same.

The problem is there is no fields that can be selected when you try to change and put up some filters in DTP.
