How to check for an iFrame on SAP Portal

Hello,

In my Portal landscape we have used different types of application integrator's like iView templates of type WDA, WDJ, Transaction, URL, KM, SRM, BW. What would be the best approach to determine which iViews are getting launched within an iFrame? Is there any standard way or property within iView that would help me to determine if it uses an iFrame?

We have been using EP 7.4 with classic framework page.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Warm Regards,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for using the SCN Discussion Forums

Regarding your query, you can check the following property of an iView:

URL Isolation Method:

https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw74/helpdata/en/47/88235867731e1ee10000000a42189d/content.htm

This can be either "embedded" or "URL" (iFrame).

This particular property can sometimes cannot be changed (for instance, AI iViews) via the property editor, so whatever value it says basically determines the existence of an iFrame.

However, if this is editable, then it can be changed accordingly.
