E-mail notification when a shopping cart is in approval

Hi experts.

Is there anyway to send an e-mail when a shopping cart is set to approval?

I´ve tried with workflow rules but this does not work for it.

    Hello Luis,

    Unfortunately the shopping cart object is not available for workflow rules.

    However the approach of task subscription may help on this case.

    When an user subscribes a task, he/she will receive notification emails for everytime a task is assigned to him/her.

    You can do so by going to Home work center, Inbox view and clicking on the option to subscribe tasks.

    The system will display all tasks that can be subscribed, you will find the ones related to approval of shopping carts under Managing My Area, My Budget section.
