Hello All

We have issue in GOSI calculations,getting wrong for single Employee.

Total Earning is

* /102 SI Appl. Ea                                                     4.518,00

3 1000 Basic                                                            3.518,00

3 1001 Housing                                                        1.000,00

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As per Saudi Calculations Gosi should be 10% of Basic and HRA (3518+1000) 4518*10% = 451.8 . Need to know how

But Getting EE GOSI as 2610. Unable to find out.

What was the joining date of the employee? Any retro?

A screenshot of payroll log of this employee can be helpful.

His DOJ is in 2014 and no retro is happening, we are running only for August month Payroll.

Total Salary and EE GOSI is not at all matching

Note:- At initial stage of Payroll log itself the GOSI base is coming high

Need your suggestion on this.

I am not sure if the reason is the splits being different for the IT entries fo the w/t's involved in the calculation and the calculation is not catering to the differences.  You may need ELIMI * and reset the splits as required.

For example, in IT, w/t's 9000 & 9001 have ESGG (field ABART) split 3, where as the other w/t's have '*'.

You need to post the full log of IT before or where GOSI is calculated as well as the processing of GOSI.

This is the same GOSI wage types and amounts we are getting before the Time Management Procesing details.

Need to know how the system decides on / wage types on GOSI

The problem could be due to various reasons, like using custom function, proc cl (I think proc cl used etc.  I generalized with usual reasons in payroll calc issues.

Pl note I have not worked for KSA environment and not sure what is the standard schema you are using or sub-schema/functions for GOSI.  I am only trying to help in finding relevant info
