Different Purchasing And Sales UOM

Hello Experts,

We buy bottle caps in boxes.

One box comprise 1000 caps.

When we place purchase order and select the UOM as box for that item can the following things take place. Let me give an example

We purchased 150 boxes. Which in turn should be 150 * 1000 = 150000 caps as qty.

Price per cap = 0.15

on entering total price 22500 we are expecting unit price field populate automatically.

We tried this both ways by selecting UOM as "Box" and entering quantity 150

By selecting UOM as "NOs" and entering quantity 150000.

Expected results are not getting. We have defined Unit group definition too.

Kindly help us in this.

    Please check your Items per Purchase Unit under purchasing tab of item master data.

    Hi,

    If your purchasing bottle caps in Boxes, then you can mention box,

    As you said you have purchased 150 Boxes, per box cost is 1000*.015=150..

    Hope you can get exact result on this..
