Webi userresponse function

Hi All,

I am trying to capture user prompts in my report and for that i am using

user response function.

Prompt which i am using is not an universe object but i have created in webi using a particular column.

Now when i am trying to run it , i am not getting any results

Please find below my formula

=UserResponse("Enter value(s) for Ms Node L08:") and attached image of the prompt

Let me know if in BO webi we can only use these function only for prompts which are created through universe or any wrong in my formula

Regards,

Akshat

copy the prompt text from the prompt and paste in userresponse. after that try.

other option is drag the object in webi select part which you have used in the prompt. If you drag the same object in the report you will get the same value which you have selected in the prompt.

The prompt text should be an exact match as to what it is appearing. It is case sensitive, So you might needs to copy as it is appearing. Best way is copy the text from the prompt you have created.
