Enterprise Application of the Enhanced Web Channel Web Site Create Issue

As Per Document Development and Extension Guide SAP® Web Channel Experience Management 3.0 SP01 , We are creating Enhanced Web Channel Web Site

Step1 : Create the Web Module of the Enhanced Web Channel Web Site : No Error

Step2 : Create the Enterprise Application of the Enhanced Web Channel Web Site : Error

• created customer-specific software component "test/comm/main/leanwebapp/myworld" where "test" is Prefix
• while Sync/Create Project "wec/comm/main/leanapp" , Build failed for sap.com/wec/comm/main/leanapp
  • Reason : Build failed for sap.com/wec/comm/main/leanapp (sap.com_SAP-WEC_1) in variant "default": Check for used DCs failed: Used component not available locally: sap.com/wec/comm/mc/catalog/dpu( sap.com_SAP-WEC_1)
  • Similar Error we are getting for other Component also like "wec/comm/mc/ipc/dpu"  ,"wec/comm/mc/storelocator/dpu" etc

Please Help us to Resolve this Issue !!!

Hi Jibin,

you need to sync the used DC's for a project in order to be able to build it.

Check your messages for syncing issues, unfortunately they are cut of in your screenshot so I cannot read them. You should be able to sync dependent DC's as archives. If this is not possible you have an issue with your track setup. If you cannot sync your own DC's as archives there is sth wrong with the build in your CBS. You also should be able to create projects out of SAP delivered DC's.

I am new in Development over NWDI Landscape  .. Please Correct me if I am Wrong !!!

As Suggested , I have Verified Compartment "sap.com_SAP-WEC_1" and Looks like Issue with  Component .

I will forward  this Request to Basis Team.

I Hope because of above Issue , Build is getting Failed .

Hi Jibin,

first you should check for the reason of the broken DC's (broke due to own ...) in SAP-WEC-FRW. I guess you are missing some NW or MDM library or you have it in the wrong version.

did you create a project for the standard main/leanapp?

Please follow the description in chapter 9 exactly, step by step. It worked for several customers and me pretty well.
