Portable Fragment Bookmarks store dimension values

Hello SCN-Community,

currently I´m have a problem with portable fragment bookmarks in combination with a filterpanel. The business case is that a special dimension (0CALDAY) must be excluded from the bookmark. It must be done because of new values are added each day.

I tried it with a "clearFilter()" call before the "saveBookmark". After the save process I refill the user selected values to display the "old" state. If I load the bookmark the next day all values from the previous day are loaded into the dimension in the filterpanel again (but not selected) and the output is not as expected.

Is there an other way to solve this issue?

Kind regards

André

    Hi Andre,

To help you further, here are my questions and comments:

    1) Is the Filter Panel itself included in the bookmark?

    2) Can you provide a screenshot of the filter panel with 0CALDAY after you "refill the user selected values" and another screenshot after you load the bookmark?

    3) Can you explain how you "refill the user selected values to display the 'old' state"?

    Regards,

    Mustafa.

    • Hi Andre,

Thanks for the follow-up and explanation. In this scenario, normally the filter panel should not be included in the bookmark as it will pickup the filter state from the bookmarked data source itself. Perhaps this was the cause of your original problem but good that you have a solution now.

      Regards,

      Mustafa.
