Numbering scheme XXXXXX cannot be assigned

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to configure Numbering scheme for Export list .

when ever I am trying to define coding scheme ...I am selecting my Scheme which i have created that time i am getting error Numbering scheme cannot asssigned.

I am using 10.1 version.

Can you please tell me the classification steps under 10.1 version for Export list.

Appreciation in advance for correct answer.

I am not certain on why you want to assign the coding schemes under Export List numbering Scheme however go through the below response:

Based on my knowledge, when you want to assign any coding scheme within a numbering scheme then it has to be from one of the following:

Either it has to be from Define Scheme for Conditions - Type 106

OR Additional Codes - Type 103

OR OGA Codes - Type 104

OR Additional Tariff Numbers. - Type 105.

Define one of the above mentioned scheme and try to assign that particular scheme within coding scheme then system will allow you to do it.

Hi Hari,

If you have already defined numbering scheme under export list, then you need to assign scheme in 2 places for classification and licensing purpose.

Assign numbering Scheme to legal regulations of application area

1. Assign Scheme for ECCN's

2. Assign Scheme for numbers in Legal Control.

This is the only configuration you have to perform, if you still have questions please post all the details with screen shots so that we can find out what went wrong.
