Process chain asks for transport request while scheduling/activating.

I had made changes to a process chain and saved it to a transport.After it moved to test system, we are seeing that for scheduling / activating the process chain, it asks for a transport request. it was not the case earlier. I even checked the scc4 setting/ object changeability setting. Its all fine still asks for a customizing TR.

Is this is happening for only process chain or any other objects as well.

please try to change full info pack selections and save.

whether it asked TR or not.

if its asking for TR then seek basis team help to change those settings.

Hi,

This is happening only for process chains.

Already checked with basis team but unfortunately the TR does not have the table details which has been affected.

We are guessing some table has been modified to a custom table but not sure of the particular table.

It has collected Data transfer process, Data Source,Process chain, Process chain starter and table content RSCOMPTLOGOT

Hi,

While transporting Process chain, just we need to transport process chain flow only.

Before transporting process chin ,we may transported Data source, targets(DSO/Cube),info pack and dtps.

DTP and Data sources(which you collected in your TR) are existed at Production system? if yes then try to do below things at dev system.

Please collect active process chain into TR from RSA1-->Transport connection.

Just collect Process chain and variants only.

Don't collect objects here.

lets transport your TR dev to Qua.

Actually the TR is already in ACC. So we cannot remove the objects from TR.

Try this,

RSA1 > Transport Connection > Object Changeability > Select RSPT, RSPV RSPC Types and click to make "everything changeable".
