GR from production order without doing confirmation ?

Hi Gurus,

Can any one tel how system allowing to do GR without doing confirmation ?, it is allowing to do GR twice ( Ex : order quantity is 100, it is allowing to do two GR with 100 each).

Can any one tel me is this a standard behavior and how can we control this.

Hello Mahesh,

As per standard SAP there is no control on GI / GR and confirmation i.e. against one production order can be able to do the GI / GR more than the order quantity at any time until the order is not changed the status to TECO

If your system shouldn't allow the GR before confirmation means we can do this with the help of status profile

Hello

To block to receive the extra quantity against the production order, Go to OPK4 - Over delivery -Select  Error when tolerance exceed. or Select Tolerance is not checked.

With the second settings (Select Tolerance is not checked) System will not consider any tolerance maintain in the material master and in the Production order.
