Transport sap hana routine in transformation

Hi All!

I can't transport transformation with sap hana routine  - genereated class and programm located in $TMP package.

When I activate transformation - routine is not included in transport .

I try to do this form rsa1  - I have the same result.

How can I add routine in package for transport ?

Here is the important part to your question:

Only the method implementation belongs to the BW transformation Meta data and only this part of the AMDP class would been stored, see table RSTRANSCRIPT.

Currently the ABAP Development Tools for SAP NetWeaver (ADT) does not protect the source code which should not been modified, like in an ABAP routine. That means all modifications in the AMDP class outside the method implementation will not be transported to the next system and will be overwritten by the next activation process. The BW transformation framework regenerates the AMDP class during the activation process.

Does this mean that I have to create routine in prod. system manually ?

No.

That means there is no explicit entry in the transport request for routine coding.

The code is part of the meta data of the transformation and the corresponding class will be generated during the activation process of the transformation.
