does anybody has experience with XI in periphery of "Shop Floor Systems"?

Hi Udo,

documentation on this topic is limited at the moment. Let me try to point you to a few items (hopefully they are helpful for you):

1) The xAPP xMII provides support of shop floor systems and uses also some XI functionality. Some information on xMII you can find <a href="http://www.sap.com/usa/solutions/xapps/xmii/index.epx">here</a>.

2) SAP offers the support of the S95 standard (via mappings in XI) which is used by different partners to connect their shop floor systems with SAP. Some (very limited) information on S95 is <a href="http://www.sap.com/usa/solutions/manufacturing/pdf/BWP_OB_SAP_Manufacturing.pdf">here</a>.

Partner solutions that connect their shop floor systems via S95 with SAP will be listed in the <a href="https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/NETWEAVER">content catalog delivered by 3rd-party vendors</a> (follow the path <i>SAP NetWeaver in Detail -> Process Integration -> SAP Exchange Infrastructure -> SAP XI in Detail -> XI Content Catalog -> XI Content Delivered by 3rd-Party Vendors</i>). Unfortunately the shop floor integrators are not listed yet, but they should be there soon.

3) One partner offers the support of the OAGI standard in XI and also offers the integration of their system via OAGI to SAP. This partner can actually be found in the <a href="https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/NETWEAVER">content catalog</a>.
