Upload of Planning Data

Hi Experts,

We have some concern regarding the uploading of Plan data in 7kex.

Initially, the plan data (record type 1) was uploaded last August 1 amounting to 20,753.11.  On that same day, we executed the Distribution cycle for the same GL account. See screenshot below for record type 3.

On August 8, we re-uploaded the plan data but it did not overwrite the previous upload even if the same amount was posted for the same GL account.  It just created new Iine items for record type 1. Is it because the distribution cycle was not reversed before we re-uploaded the plan data? Does it mean that execution of Distribution cycle has an effect in 7kex upload?

Hello Elli,

System will consider it as uploaded plan data only when it is not processed. In case you have processed it by allocation, system will not be able to overwrite it as it is data which is related to other tables which have been allocated already.

So it should be a correct system behavior.
