EPM Error: The execution of report Default report failed. Please contact your administrator

Hi All,

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am getting this error only when going to create NEW REPORTS not in OLD REPORTS. It is working fine with OLD REPORTS.

IS IT A BPC-EPM ISSUE or SAP BASIS ISSUE

We are using:

EPM 10.0   SP-14  Patch-3  .NET-3.5   and  BPC-10.1  SP-09

Below are the details for BPC and BW versions:

BPC-10.1  SP-09 

EPM-10.0, SP-26, .NET-4

I see SP05, not SP09...

Just generic recommendation - upgrade to the latest for both BPC and BW

Thanks for your quick response.

I have installed a new version of EPM.

i.e.  EPM-10.0, SP-26 and .NET-4.0  but still the issue persist.

Can you please suggest any other workaround to resolve this issue.

Hemant I guess you are working on SAP BPC NW version! post your query here....

Please confirm!

I am not familiar with the above error...so don't exactly know the solution. Maybe try to work with BASIS people on this....

Hi Hemant,

EPM SP 14 is too old....Try to upgrade to recent SP like 24 or 25.

Have you recently made any changes to the Measures formula in the backend?

P.S Are you sure your using SAP BPC 10 Microsoft Version???
