Hi within the R3 client I can use F1 and the technical information button to find a table and field name

thank you for your post. It was partly helpfull. Maybe I should explain what I want to reach: we are acutally implementing TM in our company and TM will also be the source for some BI reports.

I do know that there are already some datasources which provide the majority of the data we would like to see. The Problem now is, that if I have to extend the datasources or want to define new ones, I need to tell my programmer where he can finde the missing information.

I found a slightly different manual here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-35848 The interesting thing is: if you address the same field with both procedures, you end up with different results. And I still dont know in which table the field originally is located. For example: /SCMTMS/VEHICLERES_ID (shown in the value line within the input fields) is called VEH_RES_ID_T within the component configuration and this field is used in 87 structures, shown in SE11
