Hello

It is possible in a calculated column, but as a measure is typically a numeric datatype, and you require a hard-coded string prefix, here's your issue.

Typically, the consumption layer performs formatting of data values rather than the model.

Hi Neeraja,

One way for the solution would be,

1. Create calculated column - CURRENCY_CODE like below.

2. Create calculated measure as per your formula and

Mention semantic type as "Amount with Currency code" and

Select currency type as Column and choose the column CURRENCY_CODE.

3. Hide CURRENCY_CODE Column and check the data preview.

Calculated Measure value will be displayed with '$':

Only difference between Muthuram and your procedure is the view. You are in the analytical tab (as seen due to the _SUM aggregation of the key figure) of the SAP HANA Studio and he displays the currency in the raw data tab...

Which Support Package has your SAP HANA system? SPS11?

This would give you a suffix, rather than a prefix as you asked for.

You haven't specified the Schema for currency conversion, which should refer to a schema that contains the standard SAP currency tables, which you may or may not have available in your HANA system.

Hi Neeraja,

You are checking data preview in "Analysis" tab.

Please check the data preview in "Raw Data" tab.
