Hello,
I fairly new to SAP BW but I recently connected an additional ECC source system to our development BI system. The BW Team is trying to sync up data sources in BW. When they try to sync up the Delta queue they get the message, "Entries for application 02 still exist in extraction queue". So they have requested deleting MEX0x queues in SMQ1 in an old SAP client that was deleted a some time ago.
This request brought up a few questions.
1) Why would a newly connected BW source system refer to old SMQ1 queue entries in a client that has been deleted and not being sourced from?
2) Is it best practice to delete queues in SMQ1 to resolve such issues? Is there a way I can identify which entry is causing the message noted above?
3) Unfortunately the client has been deleted so I cannot logon to that client to delete the queue in SMQ1. I found report RSTRFCQD but I was not sure if it will run against the client that is logged on as I do not see an option to specify a client. So in the event deleting the queue is the only option what report can I run that will allow me to specify the client if I cannot in SMQ1 or in program RSTRFCQD?
Thank you in advance
