SUS emails going to the wrong vendors

Hi All,

This is an odd one. One of my vendors got an email alerting him to a PO in SUS, that belongs to a different vendor.


I checked the PO & vendor master in ECC, which look fine, and I checked the vendor org & BP in SUS, and they match up as well. The PO is assigned to the correct vendor in SUS. The email address on the PO's vendor is bob@supplierA.com while the person getting the email is john@vendorB.com.

The vendor org doesn't show anything wrong. Tcode BP shows the correct email addresses associated with the vendor partners. Looking at the PO in SUS via the web, it's assigned to the correct vendor.

Is there anything else I may have missed? This is the first time I'm aware of this issue, so it may just be a system hiccup.

Hi Seth,

this is not a known issue for SUS. If it is reproducible you can check in FM BBP_SUS_NOTIFICATION_SEND during incoming XML processing.

Hi Zoltan,

We figured out the problem. The vendor had multiple vendor masters, and the one that I DIDN'T look at had an incorrect email address assigned. So it was just a bad data issue.
