Reliability Maintenance Strategy

Hi,

Is it possible to map the requirement of Reliability Strategy Maintenance in SAP?

Reliability Maintenance Strategy consist of four pillars:

  • Inspection -> Predictive Scheduled Maintenance Plan
  • Planning -> Manual Scheduling of Predictive Notification generated against any NCR found from Inspection Order Operation Confirmation.
  • Execution -> Converting of above Notification to Order and closing till confirmation and TECO and generate if any NCR found while Order Operation confirmation.
  • Improvement -> If any multiple re-occurrence of same NCR against same equipment if found, then an Order is created by a Special Task Group maintenance team to overcome issue to resolve it through Quality Circle Process.

I have tried to map the above requirement by doing following steps:

  • Inspection -> Scheduled Maintenance Plan Predictive Type order.
  • Planning -> Backend enhancement done in IW48 & IW41 using user exit to automatically generate notification against any NCR found while doing work confirmation.
  • Execution -> Its a normal process.
  • Improvement -> A unique of order type provided.

Things I am unable to do is:

  • Linkage between the new notification generated and the previous work confirmation no.

Please guide how to over come the requirement or guide if any other process I need to follow to meet the whole end to end requirement.

    Hi Fazie,

    PM was created if basing on the bases of Reliability Maintenance Strategy

    In the confirmation of an order, you can open a new notification, and it can put in this notification the order number (it can be a text field, or you can configure a new field)

    Hi Fazle,

    From previous work confirmation you can create notification and this you can use as reference while you are generating new notification for the purpose of mapping improvement through unique order type.
