GR inspection

Dear Experts,

There is a STO process involved between our plants which involves a GR inspection in the receiving plant for which we activated 01 inspection type at the receiving plant . But during GR through 101 movement type , system is not creating any inspection lot . When checked, in the GR transaction the key is set as 'post to un-restricted' instead of 'quality inspection' . Are we missing some thing.

    If this is a true STO, you need to activate the 08 inspection type in the receiving plant. Not the 01.

    Hello,

    Have you performed checks in QM view of Material Master?

    Alternately, try doing below:

    - In the PO, "Where To" Tab change assignment from unrestricted use to Quality inspection.

    - Now when you do the GR, goods will land in Quality Inspection, Post inspection move them to unrestricted stock with 321 movement type.

    Are you sure that only one inward inspection setup is defined for that material.

    Do you have Purchase order for that? If so check what stock type is selected.

    While doing MIGO transaction have you ensure that stock type is "Quality inspection"?

      Hello,

      You may try activating inspection type '01' in the receiving plant, but not sure of it. Ideal way to cater is in PO maintain post to inspection in where to tab. This can be more achieved by user education.
