Unable to get Latest Logon Page war file

Hi All,

I have to do some changes in the Existing logon page war file for sap Portal. I have downloaded the tc~sec~ume~logon~ui.war from the following location:

:\usr\sap\ \J00\j2ee\cluster\apps\ sap.com\com.sap.security.core.logon \servlet_jsp\logon_ui_resources\tc~sec~ume~logon~ui.war

but when I imported the file in the nwds and compared it with current logon screen, both are different such as branding images and context root value is also different from nwa logon property ume.logon.application.ui_resources_alias.

As per my understanding some one change the file Name and customized it already, but I am not able to trace the latest file. Basis team is not able to get the latest deployed file.

Please let me know from is there any wat to get the latest war file or I can check the deployed file in nwa .

Thanks & Regards,

Rohit Gera

    Hi Gera,

From NWA -> Application Modules could confirm exact application name by application alias.

Then you could check file system ...\j2ee\cluster\apps\<vendor name>\<application name>\servlet_jsp\<application alias>\ to see if you could find one .war file. If yes, you could import into NWDS to verify if indeed it is the one currently used by system.

    Regards,

    • Hi Amy,

Thank you for your reply, I have downloaded the file with application alias as same as in nwa property.

But I am having one doubt that in nwds application.xml file is having context root value in module tab and the value is different from application alias, so is it mandatory to have the same value for application alias and in the context root.

      Thanks
