SAP Portal 7.4 is very slow

Hi Experts,

I am new to sap portal, here we are phasing the issue in SAP Portal, we are using WDA applications in portal when we are login into the system(Portal login) the home page loading very slow and applications also loading very very slow, I tested the wda applications in SAP GUI (SE80) its executing perfect there is no delay. but in portal it is showing delay, I try to google it but I am not get correct answer.

how we can improve the performance in portal is there any setting are  there.

please anyone help me on this.

we are using

Portal: sap component EP 7.4 sp12

GUI: ECC 6  EHP7 SP7

Hi Kumar,

Another common cause of performance issue is when the tracing levels have been increased. In Nwa navigate to the Log configurator and select the Default Configuration button for both "tracing locations" and "logging categories"

Hi Cathal,

its already default mode. and I observed one in production portal we have two link one is intranet and another one is internet link so in intranet link in landing page design(applications pics) and theme is also not working properly

how is cpu and memory utilization?

Dear Kumar,

Just check if this helps...

Open your portal in Chrome browser.

Click inspect and go to network tab to check the element which is taking more time to load.

thank you for your reply,

I did the Network trace see attachement but the application is taking more time to open and I am getting error in standards launchpad also
