Hello! I am just a beginner with Design Studio 1.6 and discovered this post when I was having the same issue, namely, not being able to generate an initial scorecard. I am using Universe data, .unx, and am able to add a datasource to my scorecard. In order to get my data, I write query against the .unx universe. When I click on the "generate initial scorecard", the column headers appear, but no data.
I did uninstall the product, delete the two folders (analysis-config and analysis-workspace), and re-install. No help.
Does anyone have any other ideas about what I may be doing wrong?
If I use a locate .csv datasource, it seems to work.
Design Studio 1.6, version 16.1.1
BO 4.1 SP7
Universe .unx not sure how sourced
Thanks!
Hi susan,
First you have to check the initial view whether data is populating or not. if data is not populated means then you have to check with universe how many rows of data is populating more than 5000 rows Able to get beyond 5000 rows using UNX : View Idea . if it is less than 5000 means . please follow the steps in the below blog.

Hope it works fine

Did you define the Dimension for Row Scope in the Additional Properties? The described behavior looks familiar to this.
If you don't define the scope up to the required dimension, the data does not appear in the content.
It is the top setting within additional properties of the scorecard.
