WD - ALV Colored cell is visible in print pdf version only as black

Hello,

i built WD application with ALV table and some cells are conditionally colored with different colors (cl_wd_table_column=>e_cell_design). When I want to export this grid into pdf (Print version button) those colored cells are only black.  Is it supported in NW 7.0?

Hi Zdenek,

This is a limitation of the ALV framework.

It is only possible to print into black and white colors.

This SAP note contains it:

1335403 - Web Dynpro ALV print version: ADS limitations

• Generally, a WYSIWYG export is not currently supported.

What should be an alternative - traffic lights, icons - for transfer color into excel and pdf.

• If you want to export pictures and graphics, these must be in the formats GIF or JPEG (not JPEG2000).

Hi Gabor,

currently i use for exporting to pdf ADS, would it be better regarding color in pdf if i use BI library?

If I use traffic lights in ALV cell would it be colored after exporting to pdf and xls? I need to find some alternative for not working color cell in xls and pdf.
