Planned order dates calculation with PDT.

Hi team,

i have gone through links but unable figure out below planned order dates behavior.

material master- PDT.- 13 days

mrp run with option 02- pr in opening period.

SMK-

Cust order dated 02.08.2016

How planned order is created instead of purchase requisition. In which case pr could have been created.

As in below scenario 2- from date 02.08.2016 indp req. it has calculated forward 13 days + and created PR and after opening period created planned order.

    Hello,

What is ther parmater of MRP run? Is there any MRP group assigned to material master?

Refer SAP consulting note 23922 - MRP: Creation indicators, PReq. or planned order

An opening period of 0 days means that, together with the indicator "Create req. order" from "2", purchase requisitions can be created only if the opening date is the same as the planning date.

For reorder point planning, the requirement date is set to the planning date when there is a shortfall of reorder point.

Therefore, if scheduling is carried out on a non-working day, the requirement date is set to a non-working day and the delivery date or start and opening dates are set to the previous working day.

As a result, the opening and planning dates no longer fall on the same day and the system generates corresponding planned orders.

To avoid this phenomenon, you should always maintain the purchase requisitions creation indicator in the planning group for the affected materials.

    Best Regards,
