Can someone please explain the process followed in the following to situations in UK payroll?
1. Employee is a late leaver in the current financial year and has a negative taxable and NI able pay calculated in the current period. We have run the employee with the retro schema (GRET). But wanted to understand how the tax and NI refunds will be reported to HMRC?
2. Employee is a late leaver across financial year. In this situation wanted to understand how the refund to be adjusted.
For the employee in scenario 2 he is paid for March 2016, April 2016 and in May 2016 the employee is terminated with effect from 15th march 2016.
