Unable to create PR due to old PR with deleted BP

Hi Experts,

We have following problem in Campaign:

1.PR1 was created with Vendor V1.

--PO got created for above

Later realized that this vendor should not have been replicated and hence no POs allowed in CRM for this

2.Deleted PO/PR items in ECC and synced in CRM.

3.Vendor V1 (BP) itself is deleted in CRM. Now PR/PO item remains in Campaign with deleted BP/Vendor as a released PR cannot be deleted in CRM UI

4. PR2 was created with Vendor V2, PO created in ECC.

--Clicked on 'Refresh' button, which is standard; to get PO no. updated in CRM

--This is raising error for V1, as BP not found in system.

Now, because of this, we are unable to update status of any of the PRs. Temporarily, we could debug and set it to in-process and delete such item.

But my concern is how such issues are best handled, so that without deleting such PR in CRM we should be able to work further?
