When try to connect the SAP BI from BO IDT i am getting the below error.
com.sap.connectivity.cs.java.drivers.DBDError: [Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector 'testSourceConnection1486624174389'] Connection failure: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (101) RFC_ERROR_PROGRAM: Configuration of destination DF_DEST-<hostname>.com-<myuserID>-164-EN-2-100 is incomplete: Parameter password ('passwd') is missing.
I am using Single sign on Mode of authentication and the federator is ued for DSO validation.
JCO connection is working fine from BO to SAP BI. OLAP connections are working fine from IDT via SSO but federator connection fails. Please help me to understand the communication flow and relative configurations needed.
I am in BI 4.1 SP3 and the same data federator connection is working fine with specified username and password authentication mode but user gets the above same error in BI launchpad. Please help me to sort out the issue.
The issue is with the authorization of the ID who created the connection in PRD. We need to create the new creation using the ID which is having proper authorization. I will let you know once done.

Typo in the question - we are in BO 4.1 SP3 not BI. The federator validation connection is working with username password in IDT and also in BI launchpad but it is taking 15 times more duration than usual. Still we are wondering why SSo connection is not working.
