Unable to un-hide Net Price column field in ME23N at Header level

Hi All,

I have explored many similar threads which talked about this issue.(PO columns in ME23N (display/hide) | SCN).

When trying to un-hide Net price column field in ME23N header level layout , it is going back to the default settings.

The "Activate" button within "Administrator" click is not working.

I have checked for variants (user specific) but again it is not showing up.

Also, basis team has confirmed that authorizations are available to user ID as suggested in above useful thread.

Is there an alternate way to make Net price value visible in ME23N & ME22N ?

Kindly suggest.

For any PO type? How can you work at all, wouldn't this require to open a ticket at SAP Support with priority "High"

Actually for indirect POs it is showing but for direct PO it is not.

I also think that an OSS needs to be raised in support portal.

How do you differentiate between indirect POs and direct PO in your system?

We have different document types? My basis person has also checked that authorizations for all document types are available but still field columns are not getting visible.

document type is customizing, one can define own document types, I can't really think that SAP standard hides a net price field based on document types.

Isn't it the MM consultant who might customize such things with field selection?

Agreed ..Other than Administrator button , is there another way to customize field selection..Could you please let me know?

Field selection is customizing in IMG, OLME > purchase order > field selection

in which environment are you working? SAP does not hide columns by default, this is homemade. if you are the only one working in MM, then you have probably done it yourself, if you have colleagues who are doing MM customizing and development too then you should talk to each other and exchange what you are doing so that everyone is at the same level and does not destroy the work of someone else.

Hi,

Go to OLME--> Purchase order--> Define document types. Here you will find the Field selection.

Note the field selection and go to

OLME-->Purchase order--> Define Screen Layout at document level.

Go to the particular field selection value you will have the options to edit the fields.

Hope this helps

Hi All,

I made customization changes as suggested but now i find material number field has become hidden in PO creation & display (ME23N).

Could you advise on the right field selection to be selected so that Net price column & material no. both fields are visible.

What did you try to tell us with this screenshot? You circled the area that made invisible to us!!

The field selection key is actually 5 columns further right

And still this is just 1 out of 6 possible keys that interact with each other to control if a field becomes hidden, mandatory , optional or display only.

Follow the path to the field selection that I told you above and click the docu button in front of the IMG task. It is really good explained.
