HANA migration using DMO

Hi Techies,

We are using SUM/DMO (SUM 1.0 SP17) for HANA migration and we successfully done one of the migration but during our second run we ran into an issue.

During phase "MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_MIG_PREPARE/EU_CLONE_MIG_UT_PRP" system is throwing below error.

SAPup broke during phase SUBMOD_MIG_PREPARE/EU_CLONE_MIG_UT_PRP in module MAIN_SHDIMP / Shadow Import

Error Message: Export/import tasks conditions do not match for table 'REPOLOAD~': 'D REPOLOAD~ E xeq

WHERE ("PROGNAME" < '/VTA/SAPL0BFST' ' 'D REPOLOAD I xeq

WHERE

("PROGNAME" < '/VTA/SAPL0BFST' O'

Have you ever faced above issue?

Regards,

Nick Loy

    Hi Nick,

We had a very similar issue with yours, we updated the kernel R3load and R3ldctl to the latest patch version and repeated the phase "EU_CLONE_MIG_UT_PRP", the problem was gone. Maybe you can try it too, just use sapcar extract and put them into the /usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/abap/exe directory (download kernel patches for the source system database, not for HANA DB)

    Regards,

    Michael

    I would try looking here:

Database Migration Option for Software Update Manger (DMO) - Software Logistics - SCN Wiki

Technically this does not fall under the HANA remit.
