Hi,

I am trying to perform a homogeneous system copy for a SAP ECC 6 system with HANA Database.

I have an ECC 6 production system with sap HANA database and I want to perform homogeneous system copy so that to refresh the development system's database.

I have made a backup of the production database using sap hana studio and I have moved this backup to development system.

I have started the SPMG using root user and I have selected SAP HANA Database - System Copy - Target system - Standard system - Database Refresh or Move.

In wizard steps I selected, Custom option, I gave the profile path and the global password.

In next step I have been asked for Operating User password. In that step after typing the password the procedure stacks forever and the message on status bar is "checking values...".

Can anyone help us?

SAP HANA Platf. Ed. 1.0 SPS12(SAP HANA DB 1.00.121.0)

OS: Suse ent. 12

Thanks.

Hi,

do you see something in the 'console' window, like prompting for a passwort etc?

Are you on Windows or Linux/Unix?

and do you use local users or AD/LDAP Users?
