inspection lot

Dear Friends,

Inspection lot has to be generated before 30 days from the inspection date.along with this inspection lot material reservation has to be created automatically for test sample quantity. stock owaners will provide the test sample to lab against Resrvation.

Testing of the material sample has to be stated based on lot. An inspection lot with inspection quantity has to be generated automatically on 28th day from the date of nextinspection date.

Please tell me how to proceed this process. I know one user exist is there to create the inspection lot before next inspection date. But how Resrvation will be generated with sample quantity.

    Hi Anitha,

    You don't have to use any user exit as the QA07 already have the option. See the below screenshot. create variant with the below selection and create a daily schedule.

    You can create an inspection lot for next inspection 30 days before the actual next inspection date is reached.

    Your second option is to put the stock in quality after 28 days of the lot creation means 2 days before the actual next inspection date. See below screenshot. Create variant with the below selection and create a daily schedule. This will post the stock to the same inspection lot if the UD of the inspection lot is not made.

    For creation of reservation, you can use appropriate user exit on inspection lot creation to create the reservation while the lot is created using BAPI_RESERVATION_CREATE.

    Hi Anitha,

    As suggested by Dipesh, you need to use the business function Recurring inspection.

    Kindly check the below link for the detailed process flow and settings required for the same other than the one's mentioned by Dipesh.
