Screen enhancement for adding material description column in MF42N

Dear All,

We have a customer requirement to add a new column for backflush items in MF42N (COLLECTIVE ENTRY OF BACKFLUSHES) tcode to incorporate 'Material Description'.This will have to be between the “planned order” column and the “version” column. (see the screen shot attached)

The SAP SYSTEM version is R/3 Release 4.6C.

We tried to search for some screen enhancement/exit to do so but to no avail. Please find attached the document with details. Please suggest a solution to achieve the same at the earliest.

Thanking you all in advance.

    Hi Tej

I'm not sure weather it will work for MF42N or not.But it will work for Material Master.

Please check with Customer exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 it maybe useful.

Please take ABAPER help to achieve this.

    Regards

    Hi Suresh,

Thanks.. We checked, but there is nothing to create a custom subscreen for production planning as such in SPRO.

Could you please suggest some other solution?

    Hello,

There is no enchantment available for it in standard SAP. You need to modify the standard screen program. Please consult your ABAP person.
